I called when they opened at 9am to order some food for a workplace potluck because another store told me that they wouldn't have the food available until 11am. They were able to complete my order of noodles and a full duck by the time I came to pick it up! They also were so kind and gave me a lemon tea on the house that was super refreshing. I kept a to-go menu to bring home to try their food again later. The food was a hit at my office potluck and one of my other coworkers actually told me that they think they have the best duck around! I would definitely come back again soon.

Absolutely delicious. It's a cute, small cafe. Great for something casual or even a date. Came for the first time. Got the egg corn soup and the duck rice noodles. Food came quick but was hot and yummy. Service was friendly. I didn't order in but their shaved ice desserts looked amazing!

My wife and I stopped by Hao Cafe not long after they opened, and we managed to snag a table in the corner before they started getting busy. Between the two of us, we ordered a bowl of macaroni with shredded ham, French toast, stir-fried noodles, a large bowl of wontons, and two Hong Kong coffee milk teas. In hindsight, this was way too much food, as we ended up taking almost the entire order of stir-fried noodles to go. All the dishes were pretty standard preparations. Nothing was over-the-top spectacular, but I did really enjoy the cook on the macaroni noodles and the wok hei flavor of the stir-fried noodles--a flavor you only get when food is prepared over a large flame. The wontons are the reason I'm deducting a star. Out of the eight wontons I received, one of them had a massive piece of tendon that rendered the entire wonton inedible. Additionally, the shrimp inside wasn't as juicy, tender, or plump as some other wontons I've had at other locations. The texture of the pork filling was also slightly different from what I'm used to, reminding me more of a fish ball. The broth itself was fine, as was the cook on the veggies. Overall, my meal at Hao Cafe definitely satisfied my Hong Kong breakfast craving. It's not the best I've ever had, but it gets the job done.

A hidden spot that had surprisingly good food! Servers were extremely nice, food was on point, and portion size was very generous. The ambiance feels like another modern cozy Chinese restaurant. The place is on the smaller side but it's clean. There's parking right outside. What more can you ask for?

Busy, so long wait for this small restaurant. They offer HK style breakfast which is popular and lots of lunch specials. Great Cantonese style food. We really enjoyed the Chinese bbq items -- duck, soy sauce chicken and cha siu were all moist and juicy. The food is seasoned on the sweet side, which was fine for me. Only critique would be salt and pepper shrimp wasn't salty and had a different batter than usually prepared for this dish.

Place is not that big but can sit a good amount of people like maybe 30-40 or less. Food was very good. Service is fast and the crew are nice. I highly recommend this for a quick, good meal!

Cheaper than DFC and serves the same stuff. and no wait in the morning which is a plus. Milk tea is refillable. I wished the tea was stronger though. got the peanut butter french toast 7/10 and a combo porriage with rice noodle rolls 7/10. give these mom and paps shop some business!!! support local.

One of the best roasted duck in the area, pricing is inexpensive, big portion stir fried dishes!!! Best value in the area of SGV area even though it's located at Durate... Services are still quick n efficient!!!

Hole in a wall restaurant, if it wasn't for Yelp I wouldn't have spotted this place. I wished it had more tables, the wait can be pretty long since it's a small shop. I'm a huge fan of Hong Kong cafes. My partner and I ordered pineapple buns, beef chow fun and fried chicken wing to share for lunch. The beef chow fun was full of flavor and the portion size was huge. It wasn't too oily either. The chicken wings could be better, I think they still need to perfect the seasoning. It was a bit bland for my liking. The pineapple buns were fresh and toasty. I was surprised I was able to order it since it was lunch time. I can't wait to come back here to try other dishes.
